How do I earn XP?

Complete quizzes to earn XP. Correct answers give you XP, and higher difficulty modes reward more XP. Each question can only give XP once to prevent farming.

How does the leveling system work?

XP accumulates toward your next level. Each level requires progressively more XP. Every level (1–40) unlocks a unique animated Metal shader background on your Level card.

What are the practice modes?

How do I unlock badges?

Badges are earned automatically when you meet their conditions — complete quizzes, maintain streaks, score 100% on topics, and more. Check the Progress tab to see all badges and their requirements.

What topics are covered?

ProtocolPro covers 20 networking topics: IPv4, Subnetting, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/UDP, Ports, VPN, Wi-Fi, Security, DevTools, API, OSI Model, NAT, Firewalls, IPv6, Routing, DHCP, Email Protocols, Proxy & Load Balancing, and MAC & ARP.

Is my data backed up?

Progress is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, your progress will be lost. A future update may include iCloud sync.

The app is in the wrong language

ProtocolPro supports English and Russian. The language follows your device's system language setting (Settings → General → Language & Region).
