Orbyte scans your local Wi-Fi network by probing IP addresses in your subnet. It discovers devices, identifies open ports, and resolves device names via Bonjour/mDNS.
DNS Shield creates a local VPN on your device that filters DNS queries to block ads, trackers, and malware domains. No traffic is sent to external servers.
The VPN runs entirely on your device to intercept and filter DNS requests locally. It does not route your internet traffic through any external server.
Local network permission is required to discover and identify devices on your Wi-Fi network.

Some devices may not respond to TCP probes or Bonjour discovery. Try running the scan again — devices in sleep mode may not be detected.
